Michelle, Friends and Family.
I am Michelle, Founder of Florists4Events. Floristry is something which has always been of interest to me and I worked on my first wedding back in 1997.
This was my first taste of Wedding Floristry and I found it to be a real adrenaline rush, ordering the flowers and making sure everything was just so, in time for the big event.
I later went on to work in an Interflora Shop and stayed there for more than 5 years. I became Manager in 2005 and during this time, I developed my own style and realised the most enjoyable side of floristry for me was working with Brides and helping them to choose their flowers.
Each bride is different and finding a scheme which would reflect their personality meant that every bouquet was individual and unique to them.
Floristry is an art form and I love to create arrangements. I have done talks and demonstrations and have even taught my craft to Novice Flower Arrangers. I enjoy working with unusual flowers, but whether the flowers are unusual or are traditional. I only use the best grade and this makes all the difference with the freshness and the quality of my designs.
Having the chance to work for myself has given me the time and opportunity to further develop my skills and although I qualified several years ago, I feel floristry is an ever changing art, therefore I am always open to new ideas and methods.
You can be sure that my designs will stand out from the rest and whatever the occasion or event, my flowers will enhance the surroundings perfectly.
